About a month ago someone approached me regarding the origin of the painting that is displayed in the header of my site. To my dismay, I completely forgot where I got it from. I think it's an Italian master from the XVIII century, but I could be wrong. Maybe French? Most likely I found the picture on Wikipedia, but I was unable to locate it again. The original file is gone and with it any possibility of me finding out the name of the painter. Yes, I am not an art connoisseur... If someone could kindly enlighten me on this account I would be most appreciative!
